Organon is a pharmaceutical company primarily focused on women’s health and well-being, with a portfolio that includes contraceptives, fertility treatments, hormone replacement therapies, and medications related to menopause and mental health. Organon, after its separation from MSD, is transitioning from a “big pharma” into a “smart pharma” company by optimizing its packaging operations. The project focussed on supply chain optimisation to ensure a stable and reliable supply of medicines. Through extensive simulations and stakeholder interviews, an actionable strategy was developed, benefiting various departments and end customers.
