Read what IRP Delft accomplished!

India produces about 170.000 tons per day of waste, most of which ends up in landfills. To help solve this problem, Shell is looking at the possibilities of further developing an in-house technology capable of transforming the plastic components of this waste to fuels. To assess whether this is interesting or not, IRPdelft looked at the waste landscape in India to determine where plastics end up. In addition, other rival technologies and parties that could be willing to co-operate with Shell were identified.
