Philips, an international engineering and electronics corporation, is aiming to make innovation accessible for over 3 billion people around the world. To contribute to this goal, IRP Delft analyzed the full production process of the Philips dry iron, produced on the Indonesian island Batam. IRP Delft indicated inefficiencies in the supply chain and present cost reduction solutions, in order to optimize the supply chain to ASEAN countries.
