Nouryon

Nouryon (formerly Akzo Nobel Specialty Chemicals) is a global specialty chemicals leader with a wide business portfolio including industrial chemicals, polymers and surface chemicals. Recently, Nouryon opened a new MCA plant in Gujarat (India). As large energy consumer, Nouryon strives to become a worldwide pioneer in sustainability. However, the implementation of Nouryon’s global sustainability standards comes with several challenges in India. Therefore, the IRP Delft team was asked to set-up a sustainability strategy for Nouryon in India.
